A marine survey is a service intended to provide the Owner, prospective buyer or interested party (such as an Insurance Company), with sufficient information as to the condition, safety and performance of a vessel, its equipment and machinery.

 

The information provided in the survey report can be used to enable the buyer to make an informed decision before purchase, allow Insurance Companies to better assess risk or assist Owners with repair or maintenance options.

 

The survey will include a written report that will be provided as verification of the Surveyor's findings and therefore relied upon by persons or businesses as a basis for making financial decisions.
