Pencarrow Marine provides an Independent Marine Surveying, Consultancy & Project Management service for all types of Small Craft, Powerboats and Commercial vessels.
Paul Barron has over 25 year’s marine industry experience in a worldwide capacity.
Paul commenced his marine career by serving an Engineering Cadetship with P&O based in the UK, after successfully completing the prerequisite training and educational qualifications in Marine Engineering, a career at sea followed leading to Paul attaining his Chief Engineers Certificate of Competency.
After 17 years of working at sea, Paul moved ashore to a Marine Superintendency role based in Southampton, England, before relocating to Sydney, Australia, as Technical Director for a large cruise holiday company. After successfully completing a Diploma and Higher National Certificate (HNC) in Yacht and Small Craft Surveying through the International Institute of Marine Surveying (IIMS), Pencarrow Marine, based on the New South Wales Central Coast, was established offering quality professional services to the marine industry.
Paul has Chartered Engineer (CEng) status with the Engineering Council and Chartered Marine Engineer (CMarEng) status with the Institute of Marine Engineering, Science & Technology (IMarEST) of which he is also a Fellow Member.
Pencarrow Marine are available to undertake work on a global basis.
